Latest company case about How CoatTech Delivered a Dual-System Modular Walk-In Curing & Cleanroom Chamber Line

1. Project Background & Operational Challenges

A tier-1 global manufacturer specializing in automotive sensor modules and industrial control electronics recently undertook a major facility expansion to scale up production for next-generation electric vehicle (EV) components. The expansion required a comprehensive thermal processing upgrade across two distinct production stages: heavy-rack batch powder/paint curing and high-cleanliness post-assembly environmental stress testing.

The client faced several strict engineering bottlenecks that off-the-shelf industrial ovens could not satisfy:

1.Strict Dual-Temperature Operating Envelope: The equipment needed to seamlessly support both low-temperature solvent-based liquid paint baking (60°C to 80°C) with active VOC exhaust, and high-temperature powder coating/epoxy curing (180°C to 220°C) requiring dense thermal retention.

2.Class 10,000 Cleanroom Compatibility: The secondary test line operated within a controlled cleanroom. Standard painted or mild-steel equipment posed unacceptable risks of paint flaking, particulate generation, and corrosion over time.

3.Tight Thermal Uniformity Across Mass Racks: Dense rack loading meant standard static heating would cause cold spots, leading to uneven curing, micro-cracks, or thermal deformation in sensitive electronic housings.

2. The CoatTech Custom Dual-Chamber Architecture

To resolve these challenges, CoatTech’s engineering team designed, built, and commissioned two tailored walk-in thermal chambers, integrating customized airflow profiles, advanced insulation barriers, and multi-program PLC automation.

4. Modular Logistics, Installation & Verified Results

To eliminate high overseas shipping expenses, both chambers were engineered as knock-down modular panel assemblies. CoatTech pre-assembled and pre-wired all electrical control cabinets and blower bases in our Guangzhou factory prior to shipment.

Upon arrival in Southeast Asia, CoatTech remote engineers provided step-by-step schematics and technical guidance, allowing local technicians to complete mechanical erection, duct connections, and electrical wiring in under 3 working days.

Measured Project Outcomes:

1.40% Increase in Batch Output: The walk-in interior capacity allowed full trolley racks to be rolled directly into the chamber, cutting manual loading time in half.

2.100% Cleanroom Audit Compliance: System B passed all Class 10,000 particulate and outgassing tests without requiring secondary cleanroom enclosures.

3.24% Reduced Energy Loss: Interlocking tongue-and-groove insulation panels reduced wall heat leakage, lowering power consumption during peak baking cycles.

So Sir,we are ready everything, how about you?
