Overview

Speed up your workflow with the CoatTech Portable IR Lamp. Ideal for auto detailing and spot repairs, this unit cures paint from the "inside out" using short-wave infrared energy. This penetrates the coating to heat the metal substrate first, preventing solvent popping and skinning, and reducing curing time from 40 minutes to just 10 minutes.

Core Features

Short-Wave Efficiency: High light efficiency ruby-red halogen tubes (IRA) transmit heat directly to the part, not the air.
Smart Digital Timer: Adjustable timer (0-60 mins) and power settings (Pulse/Continuous) for different paint types (Primer/Topcoat).
Mobility: Mounted on a sturdy stand with caster wheels and a hydraulic arm for easy positioning over hoods, roofs, or doors.
Distance Sensor: Optional ultrasonic sensor sounds an alarm if the lamp is placed too close to the car to prevent burning.
