This project highlights CoatTech’s ability to engineer solutions not just for heavy industry, but for sectors requiring clinical cleanliness and microscopic precision.

The Challenge: Zero Tolerance for Contamination

Our client required a coating solution for sensitive components where even a microscopic dust particle could result in a product failure. Their previous manual batch process was causing:

  • High rejection rates due to airborne contamination.

  • Inconsistent curing on delicate substrates.

  • Inefficient workflow between coating and assembly.

They needed a continuous flow system that could operate within a strict ISO Class Cleanroom environment.

The CoatTech Solution: Stainless Steel Precision

Guided by the client's strict hygiene and quality standards, CoatTech engineered a CT-PrecisionFlow system (as seen in the photo).

Key System Features:

  • Hygienic Design: The entire tunnel structure is constructed from high-grade 304 Stainless Steel, ensuring easy cleaning and zero corrosion.

  • ESD Safe Conveyance: We installed a specialized anti-static Green Flat-Belt Conveyor system that ensures smooth, vibration-free transport for delicate parts.

  • Integrated Curing Tunnels: The line features fully enclosed IR/UV curing tunnels with top-mounted filtration units to maintain positive pressure and keep contaminants out.

  • Smart Assembly Integration: The parallel conveyor layout allows for seamless transition from coating to inspection and packing without the parts ever leaving the clean environment.

The Result: A Flawless Finish

Following the installation, the client has reported a 99.5% First-Pass Yield rate, drastically reducing scrap costs. The bright, ergonomic, and dust-free environment has also improved operator satisfaction and safety.
