Multi-Bay Dust Extraction & Priming Station for Clean Workshops
Technical Overview: The CT-PR Series is a dedicated pre-painting work bay designed to isolate sanding dust and primer overspray from the main paint shop. It utilizes high-volume downward or semi-downward airflow to capture particulates immediately at the source. This station is critical for preventing cross-contamination in the final spray booth and ensuring a clean substrate before topcoating.
Key Engineering Features:
Versatile Airflow Configurations:
Full Downdraft (Pit Style): Air is pulled vertically through full floor grating into a pit, providing the most effective dust suppression.
Semi-Downdraft (Rear Wall Exhaust): Air is pulled diagonally towards a filtration wall at the rear. Ideal for existing concrete floors where digging a pit is impossible.
Multi-Stage Filtration:
Ceiling Inlet: EU5 diffusion filters ensure clean air enters the priming zone.
Floor/Wall Exhaust: High-capacity fiberglass paint-stop filters capture heavy primer overspray and sanding dust, protecting the exhaust fan and environment.
Inspection-Grade Lighting:
Equipped with high-intensity angled ceiling LED fixtures (≥900 Lux). This bright, shadow-free light is essential for technicians to identify body imperfections, pinholes, and sanding marks.
Flexible Partitioning:
Available with optional manual or electric retractable PVC curtains on the sides and rear to isolate the bay during use and open it for easy vehicle movement.

Detailed Product Description
Optimized Workflow for Body Shops The CT-PREP-200 is the workhorse of the body shop. By performing sanding, masking, and priming in this dedicated station, you prevent dust contamination in your main spray booth. This dramatically improves the quality of your final topcoat.
Airflow Design (Semi-Downdraft) Air is drawn from the workshop through the top plenum filters (cleaning the air), moves downwards over the vehicle to capture sanding dust and primer overspray, and is exhausted through the rear wall or floor pit. This ensures the technician breathes clean air.
PVC Curtain Enclosure Unlike a fixed booth, the Prep Station uses sliding PVC curtains.
Convenience: Easily slide curtains open to move cars in and out quickly.
Visibility: Transparent windows allow the manager to monitor work progress.
Durability: Resistant to solvents and wear.
Energy Saving Strategy Don't turn on your 15kW Paint Booth just to spray a bumper with primer. Use the Prep Station (5.5kW) instead. It creates a cleaner environment than the open shop floor but costs a fraction of the price to operate.
Q: Can I spray the final topcoat (Color/Clear) in this Prep Station? A: Technically yes, but we do not recommend it for high-quality finishes. The Prep Station is not a sealed environment like a Spray Booth, so there is a higher risk of dust. It is best used for Primer and Putty.
Q: Does it need a metal base (basement)? A: No. The most popular model is the "Rear Draft" version. It sits on your existing flat concrete floor and sucks air out through a filter box on the back wall. This saves money on ramps and steel bases.
Q: Can you make a station for 3 cars at once? A: Yes, we can connect multiple units together (side-by-side) to create a multi-bay sanding line.
Q: Is the fan unit noisy? A: We use a dynamic balanced centrifugal fan with a belt drive, which keeps noise levels below 75dB.
