Technical Overview: The CoatTech Sandblasting Room is a fully enclosed environment engineered for the heavy-duty surface preparation of large steel structures, vessels, and machinery. It allows operators to blast to international standards (e.g., ISO 8501 Sa 2.5/3.0) safely. The core of the system is the automatic media recovery floor, which continuously recycles expensive abrasives (steel grit/shot), drastically reducing operational costs compared to open-air blasting.

Automatic Media Recovery Floor:
Mechanism: Utilizes a pneumatic scraper floor or mechanical screw conveyor system beneath grid flooring to automatically transport spent abrasive to an elevator.
Recycling: A bucket elevator lifts the media to an Air-Wash Separator, which removes dust and broken media, returning only clean, sized abrasive to the blast pot for reuse.
Cartridge Dust Collection:
Maintaining negative pressure and visibility is critical. A high-efficiency reverse-pulse cartridge dust collector removes airborne dust, ensuring emissions are <30mg/m³.
Heavy-Duty Protection:
The internal chamber walls are lined with 6mm–10mm high-wear resistant rubber curtains to protect the steel structure from abrasive ricochet and reduce noise.
