Overview Maximize your service bay throughput with the CoatTech Mobile IR Heater. Designed for "Smart Repair" and quick detailing, this unit utilizes high-permeability short-wave infrared technology. Unlike standard heat guns, these emitters transfer thermal energy directly through the clear coat to the metal substrate, curing the paint from the bottom up to prevent "solvent pop" and surface skinning.

  • Rapid Thermal Transfer: High-efficiency Gold-coated or Ruby-Red halogen tubes reach full operating temperature in seconds.

  • Smart Pulse Curing: Features a "Pre-Heat" pulse function that gently warms the panel to flash off solvents before the full-power baking cycle begins.

  • Articulated Mobility: The cassette heads can be rotated 360 degrees and locked in any position, making it easy to dry vertical doors, horizontal hoods, or angled bumpers.

  • Proximity Protection: Integrated distance sensors automatically cut power if the lamp is moved too close to the vehicle, preventing paint burns.
