Dual-Stage Exhaust Purification for Environmental Compliance
Technical Overview: This industrial air pollution control system is designed to treat exhaust streams containing Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from painting and chemical processes. It combines two proven technologies—UV Photolysis for odor neutralization and Activated Carbon Adsorption for physical capture—to achieve high purification efficiency and meet strict environmental emission standards.
The Dual-Stage Purification Process:
Stage 1: UV Photolysis (Odor Control):
The exhaust gas passes through a bank of high-energy UV-C ultraviolet lamps (185nm & 254nm).
The UV light breaks down the molecular chains of organic compounds and simultaneously produces Ozone (O3). The Ozone oxidizes the broken molecules into stable, harmless compounds like CO2 and H2O, effectively neutralizing strong odors.
Stage 2: Activated Carbon Adsorption (VOC Capture):
The airstream then enters section filled with high-quality Honeycomb Activated Carbon blocks.
The highly porous structure of the carbon physically traps (adsorbs) remaining VOC molecules. We use carbon with a high Iodine Value (>900 mg/g) for maximum adsorption capacity and longer service life.
