Overview

 

The CoatTech Retractable Booth is the ultimate space-saving solution for heavy industry. Designed to handle massive workpieces that cannot be moved easily, this mobile structure retracts to 20% of its length, allowing overhead cranes to place loads directly into the work zone. Once the part is in place, the booth extends around it to create a sealed, compliant painting environment.

  • Mobile "Accordion" Design: Double-drive explosion-proof motors move the frame smoothly along ground tracks.

  • Crane Accessibility: Solves the logistical nightmare of moving heavy items (10+ tons) into a closed room.

  • Safety Interlocks: Equipped with travel limit switches, audible motion alarms, and emergency stops to protect operators.

  • Versatile Filtration: Can be paired with Dry Filter Walls (for standard paint) or Water Curtain Boxes (for high volume).
